এক যে ছিলো বঙ্গবধূ
শ্রদ্ধা পোষাকি নাম,
পাড়ি দিলো সে মার্কিন দেশ
সেখানে এখন ধাম।
স্বজন-বিহীন বড়ই একা
অশ্রু বারি ঝরে,
'হে পরি মা! বঙ্গবধূ
দেখাও আপন বরে!
মেঘের ভেলায় পরি এসে
ছুঁলেন জাদু-কাঠি,
ইঁদুর হাতে দিয়ে খোলেন
বিশ্ব-জানলার পাটি।
ই৬দুর ভায়ার সাহাজ্যে সে
গড়লো ছোট্ট সভা,
বাংলার বধু নাম দিয়ে তার
করলো মনলোভা।
বিশ্ব-জোড়া বঙ্গবধূ
যোগ দিয়ে এই সভায়,
রান্না গল্প স্বাস্থ ভ্রমণ
গান কবিতায় মাতায়।
বি বি'র প্রথম জন্মদিন আজ
আনন্দ চারিধার,
এমন করেই পালন করবো
জন্মদিন প্রতিবার।
নববর্ষ আসলে বুঝি
মোছা যায় সব জ্বরা গ্লানি?
প্রতি বছর আসবে তারা
বিবাদ দ্বন্দ্ব হানাহানি।
ভুলের থেকে শিক্ষা নিয়ে
ভুলের মাশুল গুনবো অল্প
নতুন আশায় উদ্দীপনায়
রচবো নতুন বাঁচার গল্প।
I have traveled a long way along life’s path. The journey was a mixture of ‘the good, bad and the ugly’. Being a hardcore optimist, I prefer to filter out the dark clouds, lashing storms and fill the canvas with the vibrant hues of a rainbow.
When I reflect upon the various moments of my life, a feeling of satisfaction and gratification fills my entire being. Life is indeed beautiful, but at the same time too short. One doesn’t know what might happen tomorrow. But there was a yesterday and there is a today, whose every precious moment is treasured by me.
So friends, I thought of capturing them and sharing my happiness with you.....
